While playing through Dark Souls I came to realise that I didn't have a firm grasp on the concept of Humanity.  On the surface it seemed obvious, once human there's an obvious physical difference and some of the NPC's seem to regard you differently, you can partake in multiplayer etc. but it seemed to me that there was more going on that the game doesn't really explain in addition to added a couple of pieces of dialogue that threw me off.  So I looked around the internet and found a lot of references that appeared to be unclear or incomplete.  So I've compiled these fragments together to hopefully give a more in depth explanation as to how Humanity works.  I'll also note that I have not been able to verify all of this but I've noted what it speculation.

Nintendo has announced at their quarterly financial meeting that the Wii-U will be shown in final from at E3 2012.  Traditionally Nintendo has launched its big products in March or November, both key times for bolstering performance numbers financially speaking.  Products launching in March push numbers up for the fiscal year end which looks good to investors at year end.  Products launching in November traditionally go hand and hand with US Thanksgiving / Black Friday to take advantage of the beginning of the holiday shopping season.

Nintendo has announced that the 3DS has sold 6.78 Million units since launch.  Not nearly the dreadful numbers that some had predicted.  In fact that officially puts the 3DS ahead of the DS in terms of sales when it launched.  The sales were boosted thanks to the recent price cut as well as a positive outlook for the holiday season.

Razer Switchblade - A Revolution in PC Gaming

Grand Theft Auto V has been announced subtly on Rockstar Games website.  The site also indicates that there will be a trailer on November 2nd 2011.  The logo itself is the standard Grand Theft Auto lettering with a roman numeral V with FIVE imprinted on a ribbon over top of the V, the aesthetic looks like something that might appear on currency.
