So PETA is at it again, specifically at Nintendo (again). Earlier this week they spoke out against Super Mario 3D Land saying that Nintendo is making a statement that it is okay to wear fur. They point to Mario wearing the iconic "Tanooki" suit as proof of this. PETA has even created a flash game on their own website in which a skinned and bloodied tanuki, a raccoon like dog animal, is chasing the plump plumber trying to get his skin back. Nintendo has announced that the 3DS has sold 6.78 Million units since launch.  Not nearly the dreadful numbers that some had predicted.  In fact that officially puts the 3DS ahead of the DS in terms of sales when it launched.  The sales were boosted thanks to the recent price cut as well as a positive outlook for the holiday season.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is now available for download on the Nintendo 3DS eShop or DSi Shop, and it's also free to download until Feb. 20^th 2012!  Far from a port, this updated version of Four Swords boasts a new single player mode and the ability to enter the multiplayer with only two players as opposed to four.
