Reports are coming out that suggest Microsoft is having a record breaking month, and specifically week with sales of its Xbox 360 console and Kinect accessory. Thanks to Black Friday specials and bundle packages Microsoft has announced sales of 960,000 consoles and 750,000 Kinect units. The company stated that 800,000 units moved in just 24 hrs.

The previous record was $650 million generated by Call of Duty Black Ops which at that time eclipsed the previous record of $550 million. Seeing a trend here?
